A photograph of Doña Felipa Osuna de Marron does not seem to exist. She provides a vivid account of the Mexican War period of the late 1840s and the difficulty she and her family had being loyal to Mexican California. The assembled family in this photograph, taken in 1904 after they left the ancestral rancho, are her descendants, the family of Julio Osuna.
